If you stay at a hotel that is right next Disneyland Dr, can you enter in the back way by Disneyland Hotel ?

Hey there, hi there, Audrey! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you are here to ask us your planning question.

The weekend is almost here and the magic awaits your arrival! If you are staying at a location near Disneyland Drive, I would recommend walking into the Downtown Disney District Parking area where you can then enter Downtown Disney District near the Disneyland Hotel via the security checkpoint there. From there, if you are starting your day at Disneyland Park you can take the Disneyland Monorail from Downtown Disney District and it will drop you off at the Tomorrowland station right above Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. The other option is to just continue to walk through Downtown Disney District and that will lead you to the Esplanade where you will find the entrance to both parks.

The great thing about traveling through Downtown Disney District on the way out of the parks is that you can stop in Marceline's Confectionary to grab a treat or two for the walk back to the hotel. Pro tip: They hand out numbers during higher traffic times during the day. Skip the number and use mobile ordering in the Disneyland app! This usually ends up being quicker for me.

Audrey, thanks so much for stopping by! See you real soon!

I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
