If I stay at a hotel in Magic Kingdom, would I still get free entry to attractions and rides in Magic Kingdom or do I have to pay for rides at a park where I’m not staying?

Hey there, Paula! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World!

While there isn’t a Walt Disney World Resort hotel within the Magic Kingdom Theme Park, you can be up close to the magic at either Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Both are absolutely stunning resorts and offer rooms that have views of Cinderella Castle! Plus, both hotels are connected to Walt Disney Word’s Monorail Transportation which provides service to Magic Kingdom.

In terms of admission to Magic Kingdom, you will need to look at adding tickets to your account. In fact, might I recommend looking into multi-day tickets so you have the opportunity to explore Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A vacation that you’ll never forget!

I would suggest keeping a close eye on Disney’s Special Offers, Deals & Discounts to book a resort room and ticket combo. This is typically where my wife and I look for vacation packages to fit the needs of our family.
