Hi Juley!
You are only days away from your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, and I'm so happy you found your way to planDisney with your question!
I have great news for you. Guests of the
Grand Californian are able to
park more than one car, you will just need to pay the daily rate for both vehicles per night. The Grand Californian offers both self park and valet for Guests. Once you unload your luggage outside of the lobby, feel free to let a Cast Member know which you prefer. If you choose self-park, they will direct you to that lot which is just a short walk from the main building.
You are going to love staying at the Grand Californian. From the sweeping height of the lobby ceiling to the craftsman-style architecture, it is a true love letter to the natural surroundings found in California. Even when I'm not staying there, you can often find me taking a midday break in the lobby, grabbing a seasonal sweet treat from the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart, and recharging before I head back into the parks. More often than not, my planDisney pals and I find our way to
GCH Craftsman Bar for lunch or dinner. It's poolside and feels like an oasis amongst your busy park day. Typically, it's easy to grab a
dining reservation and not too crowded. I usually have a hard time choosing between the Poke Bowl and the Baked Nachos!
Be sure to ask a Cast Member for a list of
daily activities when you check in. I recently noticed the hotel is offering some special entertainment in honor of the
Lunar New Year Celebration, including a storytime with Mulan herself on Mondays and Saturdays. What I love most about Disneyland Resort vacations is finding the magic in the most unexpected places, including those outside of the parks.
Juley, I truly home you have a vacation to remember. Don't forget that as a Guest of a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you have access to
Early Entry - 30 magical minutes in the parks before opening! Only one park per day offers this pixie-dusted perk so you'll want to check the
Park Hours as you plan out your days.
Wishing you a magical visit!
Tara
