I want to stay at a Good Neighbor hotel the first night and then move to a Disneyland Resort hotel. Can I do that in one transaction or do I need to make the first night separate?

    Hiya, Joyce!

Thank you for sending this Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR at planDisney!

Oh boy! I love that you're already Disneyland dreaming and pre-pre preparing for your visit next yEAR to The Happiest Place on Earth! You'll love calling a Disneyland Resort Hotel home, especially when you take a dip in the pool on those warmer mid-afternoons. Unfortunately, these two stays will need to be booked separately as there isn't a way to split the payment between the two properties. Even if you were to switch from one official Mickey hotel to another, each check-in and check-out would need to be its own reservation. (Res-EAR-vation?)

This might end up working out a little bit better for you in the long run; if you can attach all of the days of your Theme Park Admission Tickets to the Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package (or if your Disneyland Resort hotel is a room-only ressy and you buy your tickets elsewhere), you could book a room-only reservation at the Good Neighbor Hotel. Depending on which Good Neighbor Hotel you choose, you might be able to find a discount offered directly through that hotel's website, like AAA, Military, etc. Or, you might even be able to redeem any hotel loyalty or credit card reward points you have vs. booking the third-party hotel through the Disneyland Good Neighbor booking platform.

I hope that this answer helped to clEAR up your question, Joyce! (And I also hope that it helped to stretch your Disney dollars, too!)
