Hi there Austin, and welcome back to planDisney!
When the spookiest season descends upon Walt Disney World Resort, it certainly calls for some strategizing when it comes to looking at the
Hours & Events Calendar during your visit to see how it'll impact each of your days spent at the theme parks. Looking at your question, the simplest answer would be that yes - guests who aren't attending
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park are welcome to spend the rest of their night at
EPCOT instead. On evenings that fall
on the event dates, day guests at Magic Kingdom Park who have
Park Hopper benefits with their admission often head to the other theme parks that remain open.
What's great about choosing EPCOT and remaining there for the rest of your day is that the Halloween season often coincides with the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, with some great evening entertainment in the form of the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series and a nighttime spectacular in the form of
Luminous The Symphony of Us to cap it all off.
That said, I have also observed that many folks and families often just plan to spend the entirety of their day at EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park on the dates of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party simply due to the earlier closing time. This results in some lower waits for rides and attractions during the day in my experience (at least until 4:00 P.M. which is when attendees can already begin making their way in), but you might want to track these estimated waits in the
My Disney Experience app to see for yourself!
Here's to all of the EPCOT fun you'll have after dark!
