If you stay at a downtown disney hotel, do you receive the same benefits as other disney resort guests, like, extra magic hours & buses?

    Hi Karen!

Unfortunately, the answer is "no".  They do offer shuttle bus service, but it's not the Disney buses and they don't run as often.  However, the service is much better, generally speaking, than what is provided by hotels that are off Disney property.

Only the Downtown Disney Hilton participates in Extra Magic Hours.  So if you are staying there, you can use Extra Magic Hours like a Disney Resort guest.  The rest of the Downtown Disney hotels, however, do not participate in Extra Magic Hours.

That said, you can get a great price for a room in Downtown Disney.  Some of the rooms are also larger than what you normally find in a Disney Resort.  For example, my family and I enjoy staying in the DoubleTree in Downtown Disney because it is an all suites hotel.  However, we do miss Extra Magic Hours!

    Good luck with your decision.
