Hello We are going to stay at Disneys Pop century . I heard a lot in Facebook Groups about ordering groceries to the Resort. Is it really ok? What does the Resort charge for it? We are very excited. It is our 2nd trip from Germany to Disney world

    Hello Katrin,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow international traveller! I’m thrilled to hear that you're booking your second trip “Across the Pond” to Walt Disney World Resort.

We frequently order groceries and have them delivered to our Disney Resort Hotel room, so yes, it’s absolutely ok for you to do so. We used to place our orders through Garden Grocer, but I’ve had good luck with Amazon Fresh lately, too. Tip from a fellow international traveller: create a US-based Amazon account in order to place your order. Please note that Bell Services will charge a small fee to hold and deliver your groceries to your hotel room.

There are times, however, when I’ll admit that I prefer to pick my produce and food items (after all, shopping in an American grocery store is a very different experience than back home!) so I’ll take a taxi or Uber to the closest Publix in order to do my shopping.

Finally, you’ll be happy to note that Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort does have a limited selection of items that you can have on-hand in your hotel room, with its in-room refrigerator. The choices are somewhat limited, but I’ve had good luck finding milk, cereal, bread and snack items during my stays at that Resort.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
