Do you have to stay at disney's contemporary resort to go to chef Mickey?

    Hi, Rachel!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you so much for sending us your vacation planning question. We are here to help you plan a magical visit, including enjoying Walt Disney World® Resorts many character dining experience like Chef Mickey's Fun Time Buffet.

I am happy to report you do not need to be a guest of Disney's Contemporary Resort to enjoy this popular character dining location, it's available for all guests. In fact, it's available for anyone, whether you're a Walt Disney World® Resort guest, or even a local resident looking for a chance to dine with Mickey, this mouse-tacular buffet is open to all.

Due to the popularity of Chef Mickey's, I do recommend making an advanced dining reservation. You can do this online up to 180 days before your desired dining date, or you can call and book your reservation by phone at 1 (407) 939-DINE, also up to 180 days prior to your visit. You can select the highlighted link above to get started making your reservation today! I know Mickey is ready to cook you up some fun.

I hope this helps, Rachel! Please do not hesitate to send me any additional questions you may have.
