If I stay at a Disney resort for two days, but purchase tickets for 5 days can I book fast passes for all 5 days 60 days in advance? Or will I only be able to book 2 days 60 days out, and the remaining 3 at 30 days out?

    Hi Laurel,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s nice to see you back here with another question, and I’m so happy that you’re planning another Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I just got back from The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I’m already planning my next visit!

One of the many awesome benefits of being a Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest is the ability to make FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance of your check-in date. If you book a two-night stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will be able to make FastPass+ selections for your check-in date, the next day, and the day you check out of your resort. When you link your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account, the system will see which days are connected to a hotel stay, and will only allow you to make FastPass+ selections at the 60 day mark for those dates. For the remaining dates, when you are staying off-site, you will be able to make those 30 days from the day of your visit, one day at a time.

In your question, you say “two days,” so I just want to clarify: if you mean a one-night stay, counting the check-in date and the check-out date as the two days, then you would be able to make FastPass+ selections at 60 days for those two days only.

Because of benefits like the 60 day FastPass+ selection window, extra theme park time during Extra Magic Hours, the ability to charge food and souvenirs to our room using MagicBands – and just the magic of spending our whole vacation inside the magical bubble, with its Disney details, amazing theming, and splash-tastic pools – my family chooses again and again to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Take a look at the Special Offers page to see if any discounts could help make this option more budget friendly, and please come back and see us here on the panel - it’s always a pleasure to help fellow Guests plan their dream vacations!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
