Hi Tracey!
Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney!
One of my favorite things about booking a vacation package for Disney World is that you can customize it to choose your resort, how many park days you’d like, the
type of park ticket, and whether or not you’d like to add on the
dining plan or
Memory Maker.
As you book your vacation package, you’ll make your way through each prompt with those options. So, you can always click through without officially booking the package to see what’s available before making your final decision. You can find that section titled Build Your Vacation right at the top of the homepage of
Disney World's website.
Your park tickets will be good to use any time during your vacation (you can check the ticket details for the exact start and end date of your park tickets). So, you will not need to choose your specific park days when booking your vacation package. You’ll only need to choose how many days you’d like to visit the parks. As you plan your itinerary, you can decide which days you’d like to visit the parks and which days you’d rather rest back at your resort.
This summer, there are so many great offers at Disney World. When booking your trip, I recommend checking out the
Special Offers page first to see if anything in particular works with your vacation dates.
It’s also good to note that, as a part of this year’s
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER,
Disney World resort guests will get to enjoy free admission to the
water parks on their resort check-in date. That could be something fun to add to your plans! Cool KIDS’ SUMMER runs from May 26 to September 8, 2026, and there are
so many fun experiences planned during that event.
I hope that helps! As you continue to plan, let us know if any other questions pop up!
