If we stay in a Disney Resort (Saratoga Springs) Do we still have to purchase park tickets as usual or not?

    Hi Madia!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

If you stay at a Disney owned and operated hotel, you still have to purchase park tickets to enter the theme parks.  However, you don't have to purchase any if you don't have any plans to visit the parks.  There are some visitors who just come to Walt Disney World to enjoy the world famous golf courses, or to go to a convention, or to just relax at the wonderful resort hotels.

However, if you do want to go to the parks, there are some perks to staying on site, such as being able to purchase a Disney Dining Plan, Extra Magic Hours, free transportation to and from the parks, and free delivery of anything purchased in the parks back to your hotel.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
