Hi Vicki!
You
can customize your Magic Your Way vacation package somewhat according to your plans while staying at the Walt Disney World Resort.
A minimum of a 1-day Park Ticket must be purchased by all members in your travel party in order to be able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan. You may purchase as many additional park ticket days as you wish and the more days you buy, the less you pay per day.
The Disney Dining Plan is purchased for the same number of
nights as your hotel stay. Keep in mind however, the plan is a pool of credits for your use but none of them need to be used on specific days of your stay. The plan is active from the moment you check in until midnight on the day of your check out. If you plan to spend time outside of Walt Disney World during your stay, you'll be able to use additional credits on the other days when you are in the parks. I'd recommend that you consider the
'Regular' 2012 Disney Dining Plan which entitles you to 1 Quick Service meal, 1 Table Service meal and 1 snack per person, per night of stay
(in your case, 6 credits in each category, per person, to use over the length of your stay) as well as a Resort Refillable Drink Mug per person. This way, you'll have the extra credits to use for your 3rd meal of each day that you are in the parks, and can also consider such options as Signature Dining and Dinner Shows which cost 2 Table Service Credits per person. I think you'll still find the plan to be very convenient and well worth the savings you'll gain, even though you'll not be on property every day.
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Vicki!
