    If we stay at a disney hotel is there any sanded swimming spots we could go to? I know pool hopping isn't allowed and I know there are water parks. But is there were any spots that you could pay to get into to just chill on sand and swim?

    Welcome back again to planDisney! We love having you here! Beach days sound like what you are looking for. The feel of the sand beneath your toes and then cleaning

    There are only two Resorts that have access to a sand-bottomed pool and they are Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort which both share Stormalong Bay. If you book a stay here you will get a chance to experience sand between your toes while having a splash. Some Resorts have access to a beachfront area but unfortunately, it is prohibited to enter the water. Swimming is only allowed in pools and water parks. That doesn't mean these beach areas are not fun to explore and enjoy! There are beach areas at many of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels including Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. You may find it an easy walk from the main Resort building and a great place to relax. There is one beach area just outside of Disney's Beach Club Resort that had a great swinging bench that was so relaxing. I loved sitting there watching the watercraft service travel past. You may find similar features on the beaches scattered throughout your explorations. Remember that you can't drive into the Resorts you are exploring unless you are a Guest or have a dining reservation. I would suggest sticking to Walt Disney World Resort transportation.
