Can you stay at different resorts during trip and only pay one price? For example can you stay at the art of animation for the first part of your trip and animal kingdom for the second part?

Welcome Foolish Mortals to planDisney! I’m Shantel and I will be your Host for the day, your Ghost Host.

It sounds like you are interested in a split-stay. After many years of visiting, my family enjoyed our first split stay this year. We started our trip at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and ended it at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. It was completely worth it and even with little Mouseketeers, I would do it again.

To enjoy a split-stay, you will have to book your trip under two separate reservations. The day you check out of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will be the day you will want to check in to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The best part is, Bell Services will transfer your luggage for you. This means you can go about and enjoy your day in the parks!

Tammy, please keep in mind that your cost will not be one price. Depending on which resorts you choose to stay at will impact the total cost of your trip. Of course, you can use the same credit card, you will just receive two separate statements.

I hope this helps answer your question! Please let us know if you need any resort suggestions or any more help planning for your spilt-stay!

    Happy Haunts

Hi! I'm Shantel from Arizona. I am a mom of two and a military wife. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey-shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for and I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical! Learn More About Shantel
