If we stay at a deluxe resort, are their children's programs for 4-12 yr olds included in the cost? We are traveling with our (will be then) 4.5 yr old. We're trying to decide between Animal Kingdom and Wilderness. Thanks!

Sorry the children's center's are not included in the price of your hotel room.  The cost is additional if you would like to utilize the club.

Animal Kingdom Lodge:  There are so many things to see and do at the Lodge.  Cast members plan family activities every hour from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Some of those activities will not be as interesting to your 4.5 year old, however there is a great pool with a great slide.  (I wouldn't recommend though for a little one.)  It's a little bit longer to get to Magic Kingdom, but your a hop, skip and a jump from Animal Kingdom.

The Wilderness Lodge:  This our favorite, there are 2 swimming pools, a kiddie pool, and a beach, my kids would love to just relax and play in the sand.  The larger pool, I believe is Silver Springs, sprays you as you zoom down to the pool.  Here's the cool part at least as far as my 5 year old was concerned.  "You get to take a boat to Mickey's House"  AKA Magic Kingdom.  This was the most exciting mode of transportation for my kids.  Have a fantastic trip!!!  Heather M.
