We sure are happy to have you stop by Jamie! Here at planDisney we love to help with these types of questions. It sounds like you have a very nice stay ahead of you, and ironing out these details beforehand is very important. Let's get these details planned!
Walt Disney World Resort must be like a home close to home for you, and if I lived in-state these type of visits would be happening as often as I could. Staying inside the magic at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel has so many advantages as well as benefits. One of those benefits is
Bell Services, these folks take the worry out of where your luggage will hang out while your initial room and second room is getting prepared. In my experience you can call Bell Services and they will come up to pick up your bags before check-out time, and you would ask them to store them until your next room is ready. Once you are checking into your second room you can call them again to have your bags delivered to your new room upon check-in. You won't even have to handle your bags once if you do it this way.
Upon your original check-in I would mention this room change to the Cast Member who is helping you, they will also let you know anything that could make your transfer easier. I always recommend to pack a few things in a park bag that you might need in between your room change. You can make use of the facilities at your resort like the pool and have a nice meal to spend some of your time enjoying the surroundings. You can also visit
Disney Springs for shopping and some great food available like my favorite place for a snack and a must-do snack for my visits.
Amorette's Patisserie is a French-style bakery with so many sweet items for your enjoyment. Everything I've ever had from there whether it was cake or macarons. If you truly enjoy bakeries like I do this is a great place to grab something to bring back to your room.
Hoping this stay is a fantastic time with lots of magical memories. If you have any questions about what to do during your stay or what your surprises your resort holds, come on back to
