We have a stay coming up in Oct at Port Orleans Riverside. I understand there is a coffee maker that uses pods in the room. I would love to bring hot chocolate for my grand daughter. What kind of pods do I need to bring? Thank you.

    Hello Kathryn!
What a great "Nana" you are. Not only are you bringing your granddaughter to the Walt Disney World Resort, you are making her cocoa! During our last visit we stayed at Disney's Port Orleans- French Quarter Resort and we had the pod style coffee pots. Please note that these are not K-Cup style machines. The pods are small disks which are actually coffee filters sealed around their contents. I personally have not had any luck locating hot cocoa in the types of pods used at the Resorts.  There are a couple solutions to this issue. You could get packets of instant cocoa and simply brew hot water through the coffee maker. Otherwise, the food court at your resort will have hot cocoa. You could purchase a refillable mug for your granddaughter and she can enjoy free refills on any beverage at the food court throughout your stay.

If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon!
