    Hello, We have a stay coming up next week August 8th, 2022. I ordered the new Magicband plus last Tuesday on July 27,2022. Im just wondering if I will receive them prior to our August 8 trip. If not can the order be re-routed to be at the resort?

    Welcome to planDisney! Your adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few short days away! I am sure that everyone in your travel crew is getting excited as you count down these last few sleeps. The arrival of MagicBand+ is finally here, and they offer so many cool new features. Interactions with the Fab 50 Character Collection, virtual bounty hunting in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, and your new magical accessory will even come alive with featured nighttime spectaculars. Let's go over MagicBand+ shipping information, and what to do if your favorite new accessory doesn't arrive before your departure. 

    MagicBand+ shipping time is currently listed as ten business days unless otherwise stated. Because your trip is so very soon here are my recommendations. First, check the status of your bands in your My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World website. If your order status says Shipped, you should see a tracking number that you can use to view the updated delivery status for your bands. Should your order still be listed as In Progress, your MagicBand+ selections may still be in the process of being personalized. Now there have been a few occasions in the past when I have ordered MagicBands and received them while my order is still listed as In Progress. So be sure to keep checking your mailbox for your shipment. I also recommend checking to be sure the shipping address is listed as your home address, rather than your resort. If it is your home, that is where your MagicBand+ orders are headed, and they will not automatically be rerouted. My recommendation in this situation would be to reach out to the MagicBand and MagicBand+ team by phone, to inquire about the status of your order. If they have not shipped, they may be able to change the address, but there is no guarantee. 

    Should you find that you are arriving at Walt Disney World Resort without your bands, you will have the option to purchase them at several locations throughout the parks and in some resort hotel merchandise shops. If you do not want to add additional wristbands to your collection, you can also use Disney MagicMobile Service. This is available through your My Disney Experience mobile app and allows you to access theme parks and your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room with your smart device. You can also use MagicMobile to enter virtual attraction queues and charge food and merchandise purchases back to your resort.
