we will stay at the Caribbean resort for our next trip. since the complex is huge is there a certain area of the resort that we can request that has rooms in a better location for younger children (5 year olds). near the main pool and a bus pickup??

Hello Jennifer!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I love staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, it is beautiful!

If you want to be close to the pool and food court areas, I suggest requesting the Martinique or Trinidad North buildings.  Those are going to be your best bet.  I've stayed at this resort more than any of the others and it's funny but I've only ever stayed in the back buildings.  I find the walk isn't as long as people think and there is beautiful scenery to look at along the way.  My husband loves the hammocks they have hanging on the white sandy beaches.  He's been known to fall asleep in them on the way back to our room after a long day at the parks.

I hope this helps!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
