Hey there, hi there, Patty! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
I'm so happy to hear that the magic is calling you and you're answering the call and planning your magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. And with a fabulous stay at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort?! Pixie-dusted paradise! With its location right on the main hub of the Disney Skyliner, the laid-back tropical vibes, the fantastic
dining options, and oh-so-fun
pools and play areas, this Resort is one of my favorites and the perfect magical home away from home.
Since you're already aware that the buildings at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort do not have elevators, it sounds as if your research and planning are off to a practically perfect start. But I agree that at the end of a long, fun-filled day at the theme parks, lugging a large stroller, shopping bags and a sleeping kiddo up a flight of stairs sounds less than magical. So, let's chat about your options.
Unfortunately, there is no place other than your room to store your stroller. Your best bet is to add a request for a ground-level room to your reservation by
calling a helpful Cast Member with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. Also, when you complete your
Online Check-in, if requesting a ground-level room is one of the request options, I recommend making this your only selection. While a room request is not a guarantee, by making only one request, it will be easier for the Cast Members to accommodate your request.
When my family and I stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort, I also had a little one and a heavy stroller in tow. I requested a ground-level room and was fortunate enough to get one in the Jamaica section. Being right in between the Caribbean Beach and Riviera Resort Skyliner stations and a short walk over to the dining options and the main pool was so convenient. And being able to avoid stairs and just push our stroller right into our room was perfect. If, for some reason, you do not get assigned a ground-level room after adding your request and completing Online Check-In, I recommend stopping at the front desk to see if any ground-level rooms are available. If so, the Cast Members may just be able to work some Disney magic!
I hope this helps, Patty, and I hope you'll stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. We at planDisney are more than happy to help and chat Disney with our pals, pal. Happy planning!
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
