Was going to stay at Caribbean Beach but changed to Animal Kingdom lodge, pool view. It is about $600 - $700 difference to get savanna view to see animals. Is it still worth the extra money to stay at AKL? 4 and 6 year old boys with us.

    Hi there, Lisa!

I truly enjoy both of the experiences you mentioned.  Whether your choice is "worth it" or not really depends on some factors.  Does your decision still fit within your budget?  If it does, I will tell you that the experience of a savanna view at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is truly unparalleled.  If your boys are like most children, they should really be impressed by the sights from the savanna view balcony at the resort.  Outside of a true African adventure, there is really no place they can see the wonders of African wildlife right outside their "door."  It remains one of our personal favorite experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort.  For us, it's worth it.  Please feel free to write back to me with specific questions. I am happy to help in any way I can.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a a truly magical vacation.
