Howdy Deb and thanks for bringing such an awesome question to us here at planDisney!
My larger-than-your-average family have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed so many rootin-tootin stays within the delightfully rustic setting of the
Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground;
The Fort truly is a gorgeous place for a vacation. The Cabins always provided an affordable style of accommodation for our then family of 6 as the
room/Cabin rate which is quoted is the price you'll pay, and is inclusive of every Guest noted on your booking. Cabins can comfortably accommodate up to 6 adult Guests by providing a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bunk bed, plus a double-size pull-out sleeper sofa in the living area.
I always say that
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground could be considered a vacation destination within its own right. There are so many super fun
Recreational Activities for Guests to enjoy, such as visiting the horses at the
Tri-Circle-D Ranch,
2 splashtastic Swimming Pools and so much more besides.
And Deb, if you don't want to stay at home and cook in the Cabin's well-equipped kitchen I can highly recommend moseying along to
P & J's Southern Takeout which is located near Pioneer Hall. My family is particularly fond of the delicious full-slab of barbecued ribs & 8-piece fried chicken combo from the
Lunch and Dinner Menu which would easily feed a hungry posse of 4 cowboys & gals!
If I can be of any further help in planning towards your zip-a-dee-doo-dah vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort then please do pop back to planDisney and ask me another question!
Have a great yee-haw Disney day ~ Jane
