Hi Moms. We want to stay at Beach Club. What are the gluten free options for QS breakfast? My DS age 10 has celiac disease. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Alyson,

No one is better at helping guests manage dietary restrictions than Disney!  I traveled with a student group last June to Walt Disney World and one of my students had a gluten intolerance.  No matter which restaurant we visited, we spoke to the chefs or managers and they were happy to direct us to menu items that worked with that student's dietary restrictions.  They were amazing!

The only quick service restaurant at Disney's Beach Club Resort is the Beach Club Marketplace.  I ate there in late September for breakfast. (Hurricane Hannah's does not serve breakfast). They had some lovely options including egg platters and fruit.  You can see the restaurant's whole menu at the independent fan site, allears.net.  (Search Beach Club Marketplace).  As you approach the line where breakfasts are being constructed for guests, simply let the Cast Members there know of your son's dietary restrictions.  They will point out the gluten free options that are available.

I also recommend that you read the "Eating Gluten Free at Disney World" article on the Disney Food Blog, another very helpful fan-based website.  (www.disneyfoodblog.com)  That will give you additional helpful information as you prepare for your upcoming trip.

Wishing you all a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!
