If you stay in animal kingdom lodge can you take the monorail into magic kingdom from Epcot

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

The Walt Disney World Monorail is, for me, an attraction in the sky and I never miss an opportunity to hop on board. I simply marvel at the gleaming trains as they wrap their way around Walt Disney World transporting Guests to their magical encounters.

There are 3 separate round-trip train line loops on the iconic Monorail system. The Express Monorail carries Guests from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) to Magic Kingdom park. The Resort Monorail carries Guests from the 3 Monorail resorts — Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort — as well as the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). The Epcot Monorail carries Guests from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) to Epcot.

So to answer your question, yes you can take the Monorail into Magic Kingdom park from Epcot. Simply walk up the Epcot Monorail boarding platform near the Epcot park entrance, get off at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), and transfer to the Monorail to Magic Kingdom park. You can ride the Walt Disney World Bus Service from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to Epcot.

Taking a journey on Walt Disney World transportation options including Monorail, ferry boat and water taxi makes for a fun experience.

Enjoy the ride, and enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
