If we stay at the Animal Kingdom is the bus to magic kingdom and other parks direct? or will it stop at a lot of other hotels along the way

    Hi Dolly,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World. The accommodations are beautiful, the restaurants are all top-notch, the pools are luxurious and you can't beat seeing giraffes, zebras and other animals on the savannah from points throughout the resort.

There are two bus stops within Animal Kingdom Lodge, one at the Kidani Village section and one at Jambo House. Buses bound for each of the four theme parks, the water parks and Disney Springs serve both stations and depart about every 20 minutes. Depending on where you board the bus, you may stop at the second bus station before you depart the Animal Kingdom Lodge campus. But the Magic Kingdom bus takes you directly to the entrance of Magic Kingdom, the EPCOT bus to the entrance of EPCOT and so on. You will not stop at other resorts.

Animal Kingdom Lodge is farthest from Magic Kingdom. That ride is usually about 20 minutes. EPCOT and Hollywood Studios are a little closer and, of course, Animal Kingdom is only about 10 minutes away. Traffic can vary by the time of day.

I hope that is clear, Dolly. Please let us know if you have any other questions about Animal Kingdom Lodge, Walt Disney World transportation or the theme parks, restaurants, shopping and other experiences. We're here to make your vacation planning easier. Enjoy!
