    We will be stay at AKL in August! CAN'T WAIT!!! Are you allowed to bring a cooler down to the resort pool? This would save us some money and time. Thanks so much for all your help. You have made planning this trip a lot easier!

    We actually have always taken a cooler down to the pool area.  The key thing to remember is to not bring glass.  We usually fill it up with water bottles and soda's.  I carry a bag full of snacks, fruit and  a few games.  We also take our cooler to the water parks.  It's a chest cooler.  We couldn't bring the cooler into the main parks.  The cooler saved us a great deal of money at the water parks as well.  Hope you have a fabulous trip!!!
