Hi Jazmin, welcome to planDisney!
The
Disneyland Resort has been monitoring the health and safety conditions and has been adjusting its
COVID-19 health and safety protocols accordingly. I'm happy to walk you through some of the recent updates!
Per the current guidelines, the State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test before entering the Disneyland Resort. However, please know that this is a strong recommendation and NOT a requirement. At the current moment, you are not required to provide a negative COVID-19 test.
And regarding face coverings, the Disneyland Resort strongly recommends that Guests wear face coverings in indoor settings. There are only certain indoor settings, such as Disney shuttles and health settings (like First Aid) where face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up), regardless of vaccination status. If you are outdoors, facial coverings are optional for all Guests.
If you have any other questions, please do visit us again!
But before I let you go, I do want to mention some of the exciting experiences that are returning in April! The nighttime spectaculars are set to return on April 22, 2022, including the
Main Street Electrical Parade and
Disneyland Forever fireworks at Disneyland Park, and
World of Color at Disney California Adventure Park! AND, something my little ones are really excited about, it was just
recently announced that as early as April 18, 2022, the Disneyland Resort will be reintroducing the traditional character meet and greets! Fun!
See ya real soon!
