Ahoy there, Asakorn, and welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you’re dreaming of a magical voyage at sea for your family, and I couldn’t think of a more majestic trip than aboard a Disney ship. And you’re in luck because up my sleeve I have an answer fit for a prince. Here are a couple of options to consider for your larger family on the Disney fleet.
While it’s true that most staterooms sleep up to four Guests, on the
Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, the Tower Suite can accommodate up to eight guests. Other ships also have concierge suites, but none that would fit eight in the same room. For instance, on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder, the Concierge Royal Suite with Verandah and the Concierge 2-Bedroom Suite with Verandah can accommodate up to 7 Guests.
As an alternative to sailing at the Concierge level, you could choose to book two staterooms that are side by side or connecting. In some cases, this may be an even better value than reserving a suite. If you are booking your own staterooms, you can pick two that connect.
My favorite money-saving tip is to keep an eye on the
special offers tab on the website. However, while your category is guaranteed, you don’t get to choose your actual stateroom, so that doesn’t sound like the glass slipper would fit for your current situation. However, you can always
call a friendly Disney Cruise Line representative to explain your situation and request connecting rooms, and they will do their best to accommodate you accordingly.
Asakorn, the sea is calling your name, and I hope you get to ride the Big Blue very soon! If any other questions pop up before you do, I hope you’ll sail back to us here at
planDisney!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
