Ahoy Evelyn!
I am so very excited you sailed by planDisney with your question about cruising on the
Disney Fantasy! If you ask me, there is no better way to explore the high seas than with Captain Mickey. Especially when staying in Disney Cruise Line’s fabulous
staterooms!
You are speaking my love language because the
verandahs are one of the main reasons why I love cruising! Maybe it’s being able to feel the sea breezes or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, but it’s so invigorating to have a (state)room with a view. I can imagine you are a fan, too if you want to select an oversized verandah for your voyage.
Using the
deck plans link, select the Disney Fantasy as your ship and you’ll see a rendering showing the verandah size for each stateroom. Generally speaking, the aft staterooms offer the bigger verandahs. I would say that the Disney Fantasy staterooms 9670, 8682, 7190, and 7688 and handicap-accessible staterooms 9170, 8184, 6186 and 6686 boast the largest verandahs. Completely unscientific on my part...they just looked the biggest on the deck plans!
Before being totally sold on which one to choose, I always check to see what is both above and next to the particular stateroom. Call me crazy, but I would rather not be located under a restaurant or late-night venue. I never want to be the cranky lady wanting her neighbors to keep the volume down! Even though my kids are teenagers and staying up late themselves, it’s nice to take in a serene moment from the verandah in the evenings.
While you are onboard, you'll have access to the deck plans, menus, and daily activities and entertainment options thanks to the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Be sure to download it before arriving at the port terminal-that’s your homework before you set sail!
Evelyn, we’d love to have you back here at planDisney as you continue your planning journey and count down the days to your FANTAStic vacation!
Happy Sailing!
