Michelle from AZ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am from out of state, visiting CA at the end of June. I believe the park will be open to out-of-state residents at that time, and would like to purchase tickets, now. Can I do that and if not open to out-of-state refund tickets or use at a later time?

Hi there, Michelle! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and allowing us to assist you in planning your vacation to Disneyland Resort!

Disneyland Resort has begun its phased reopening and is inviting Guests back to make all-new memories in a land of magic! At this time, Disneyland Resort is operating under guidance from the state of California and local health officials in order to keep all who visit safe and healthy. During upcoming visits, you may notice changes such as enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. Additionally, all Guests ages two and up will need to wear a face-covering during their visit except when actively eating or drinking. During these times, Guests must remain stationary and maintain an appropriate physical distance from other Guests.

Beginning June 15th, 2021, Guests that are not California residents will be allowed to visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks! So, with your anticipated travel dates being after this time, you should have no problem visiting the theme parks!

I would recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as possible since all Guests will also need a theme park reservation prior to their visit. Theme park reservations may be made at the same time you purchase your tickets. It is also suggested that you check the online Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before booking your stay so you can verify availability during your chosen travel dates!

I hope this information assists you in planning a magical trip to Disneyland Resort later this month! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
