Hi Elizabeth,
Welcome to planDisney! It's great to see you stopping by with a question.
Unfortunately,
Annual Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Since you have not yet used those passes, you could potentially
reassign them. My family and I have Annual Passes and we also live out of state. When I calculated how many days we planned to visit each year plus estimated the
dining and merchandise savings, I decided that becoming Annual Passholders would actually save us money. Trust me, however, the cost did make me worry. But, the math made sense for our family.
Now that we have been Annual Passholders for two years, they have been such a great value. I love being able to not worry about buying tickets for each trip, hoping that the pricing stays within out budget even if we are visiting on busy days of the year. Since we love to visit during The
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort, having Annual Passes is simply wonderful since ticket prices are typically a little higher during that time of year.
Of course, you are welcome to
call and speak with a Cast Member. As you consider your options, I suggest that you also do a food and souvenir estimated budget for your next trip. Calculate the amount of money you might save using that discount. Since my husband loves buying new t-shirts on every visit, being an Annual Passholder helps us to save additional money.
Elizabeth, it sounds like you might have a few future trips planned. If so, I hope those include
The World's Most Magical Celebration! We are so excited to welcome you to the magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
