We are starwood customers and can stay free at the WDW Dolphin or WDW Swan. Do you recommend one over the other? We also have access to a time share but are not sure if there is one on property. Please help with making this BIG decison.

Hi Farrah! Staying in a Disney resort is the best way to have a complete and magical vacation. Disney has spread some of the benefits to the Swan and the Dolphin resorts which are located in the Boardwalk area. This is my favorite resort location since you can walk to two parks or take the water shuttles. The Swan and Dolphin share the same water shuttle spot but they each will have their own Disney bus locations in the resorts to take guests to the parks. The biggest benefit to stay on site is the ability to get access to the parks during their Extra Magic Hours.

Both have unique architecture and good dining options. Much of the year they are both crowded with convention guests with the main convention facility being at the Dolphin. I have found that they are each offering good rates and deals throughout the year and it is hard to choose one over another. I think my personal choice would be the Swan but if you read reviews of others many love the Dolphin just as much. Kind of a pick a number kind of deal for me!
