Great news - Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is absolutely included with a
standard one-park-per-day ticket to Disneyland Park. There is no separate admission required, and you do not need to purchase the
Park Hopper option just to visit Batuu. As long as you have a valid ticket and a
theme park reservation for Disneyland Park, you'll be walking through those canyon walls and into the Black Spire Outpost in no time.
However, here is where Park Hopper might still be worth considering, depending on how you want to structure your trip. A Park Hopper ticket gives you the flexibility to visit both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park on the same day, which can be really handy if you want to hit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in the morning and then hop over to Disney California Adventure Park for the afternoon to visit Avenger's Campus, Cars Land, and more.
Personally, I prefer the flexibility that comes with the Park Hopper option, but either park can certainly keep you busy for an entire day if you decide to go without it.
One thing I'd recommend regardless of which ticket type you choose is that if you're hoping to ride
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, keep an eye on
Lightning Lane Single Pass availability for that one. It is one of the most popular attractions in the park, so being able to purchase the Lightning Lane Single Pass in order to access the shorter queue is absolutely worth consideration.
