Hi, We are starting our vacation at Disney on Easter Day. Our plane lands at 2:30pm Easter Day so I think it will be 4-5pm when we get to our resort. Will all of the Easter festivities be over at this time? Thank you, Michelle

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you brought this question to us. And I am always thrilled to greet a fellow North Carolinian!

At this time, we do not have an official list of Easter festivities for 2018, so I cannot say for certain if Easter activities will be over by the time you arrive. I can, however, provide some fun links to Easter activities from last year. I do hope you are following the Disney Parks Blog! We always check the Blog for more details about upcoming events. Last year, there was a great post on Easter Treats and Eats at Walt Disney World Resort. That article noted that the famous chocolate egg displays would be up until April 29 and Easter last year was on April 16.

Another article that appeared last year, Disney Parks in Full Bloom for Spring noted a special Easter pre-parade prior to the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. That special pre-parade happened the day before Easter and Easter day. And, of course, keep an eye out for the official Epcot International Flower and Garden dates. I love the outdoor concert series and the incredible topiary displays.

The good news for you is that spring will be here and the days will be a little longer, so you should have some time to get checked into the resort and head to the parks.

Michelle, I wish you the best as you plan!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
