We are starting our stay on a Monday at AOA. I have an 11am ADR at 1900 Fare which will be hours BEFORE we can check in at 3pm. Will we be able to use our dining plan to pay before we check in? Do we need to go to AOA before going to 1900 Fare?

    Hi Anna!

You are starting your vacation off in my favorite way...dining!  We are huge fans of the Disney Dining Plan and find the flexibility and convenience of having our meals taken care of before we leave home a huge plus.  You will love your breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  The Mad Hatter is always fun to visit with.

You are considered a guest at Walt Disney World the moment you arrive, no matter what time that is and if your room is ready or not.  If you utilize the Online Check-In, set up a PIN number and already have your MagicBands already, you can skip the front desk completely and start using your Disney Dining Plan right away.  You can also pick up your refillable drink mugs at any Disney Resort hotel.  They do not have to be picked up at the Disney Resort hotel you are staying in.  If you are not using Online Check-In, you will need to stop by the front desk of Disney's Art of Animation Resort to have your plan activated.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions or if you'd like any recommendations on how or where to use your Disney Dining Plan for meals or snacks.

    Have a magical day!
