I am starting to plan a WDW trip with my family for 12/2-10/2023 for 11 of us, but it's not showing me any available resorts We don't necessarily have to stay in a suite, all together, just rooms maybe close together How do I do this?

Hello Denise! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney!

My first time visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays was just this past year with some of my fellow planDisney panelists.  I felt so lucky to be able to see the beautiful holiday décor throughout all four Theme Parks, the towering trees in some of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and even a spectacular gingerbread giraffe that arrived at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge just as we did! You and your family are going to have such a magical time when you head to The Most Magical Place on Earth during next year's holiday season.

I bet you've been waiting to book this trip for some time and heard that 2023 bookings were opening on June 8th, 2022.  While you're right and you DID jump on at the right time, Walt Disney World Resort currently only opens bookings up to 499 days prior to your check-in date.  As of today, your arrival date is a few more than that, which is why you're not seeing Resort availability just yet.  Once your arrival date fits in that magical window feel free to call and speak with a Cast Member about booking your trip!

I love bringing my entire family with me to the Walt Disney World Resort.  Just this past June we had a party of 10 visiting and we'll be back together doing it all over again next year! When booking, I like to look for two or three standard Guest rooms instead of a larger suite.  As a budget-conscious family, it just makes more sense for us to have our own space, our own payment plans, and lower-cost Guest rooms.

When searching for your perfect room at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel I suggest choosing your Resort first, booking each room separately, and then linking all of your reservations together through your My Disney Experience account. You can even call the Disney Resort Hotels Reservations line at (407) 939-1936 to request having your rooms close to each other or even have them adjoining, with a door that opens in between. While this would be a request and not a guarantee, Cast Members truly try their best to make your family vacation as comfortable and magical as possible!

While you're visiting make sure to take a day to "Resort Hop" and check out the life-size gingerbread house in the lobby of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Not only does it look amazing and smell delicious but you can even purchase some tasty gingerbread to take with you when you leave.

Come back and see us again with any and all planning questions!

When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
