We are starting to plan our 1st trip to WDW this Xmas. We have been to DL in LA twice, spending 8 days there, with a 14 day pass. WDW has 6 parks how many days do you recommend? We are from NZ and have 2 girls 9 & 7. What is the longest pass we can get

Hello Kylie and welcome to the Moms Panel.

Congratulations on your future first visit to Walt Disney World!

What a great time to visit Walt Disney World.  My family enjoyed eight beautiful days from November to December 2012, and we were able to experience Disney´s Christmas decorations and special events.

With girls at such an awesome age you should consider visiting all Walt Disney Worlds parks during your first visit.  Still, with both water parks you have to consider that during Christmas weather could be a factor (though all the water at the parks is heated), but more importantly one of the two water parks may be closed for refurbishment.  Remember to view Disney´s Park Hours and Updates.

Regarding the four mayor parks my family (boy 8 years old and girl 6) enjoys the Magic Kingdom the most.  We can visit Animal Kingdom, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios once during a trip, but Magic Kingdom would get at l least two full days.  There just are so many attractions, shows, restaurants and things to look, do and enjoy!  We visit Magic Kingdom, even more days, during special events as "Mickey´s Very Merry Christmas Party".

My family also loves to visit Disney´s Animal Kingdom, and it is the park that gets a second visit during our long vacations.  We love the unique charm of this park (full of plants and animals) and the exciting Expedition Everest attraction. Animal Kingdom days always are relaxing days.

We do love and enjoy EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, we just enjoy Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom even more.

"Magic Your Way Tickets" can be purchased to visit parks to a maximum of 10 days, expiring 14 days after first use.  You can get more days with the Water Park Fun & More option or with Annual passes.

Happy to help you plan a magical Disney Vacation.
