Hello, we are starting to plan our trip for next february vacation, my brother and I are planning on paying for our parents to come with us, we would like to send them to nice dinner one of the nights we are there, any suggestions?

You've come to the right foodie, er, I mean Disney Mom, Kimberly!  My husband and I have enjoyed many a date night during our trips to Disney World.  And, let me assure you, there is no shortage of nice restaurants to experience.

For the most discerning tastes, a visit to Victoria and Albert's would be a treat.  For something less formal, but every bit as magical, might I suggest California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Dinner there is especially romantic when the reservation time falls about an hour before the Magic Kingdom fireworks; the view is second to none!  My third recommendation would be Jiko.  Located at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jiko offers delicious menu items with African flavors and flare.  It's one of my favorites.

What lucky parents you and your brother have!  Have fun planning a special evening for them.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
