We’re starting to plan our trip to Disney World for the beginning of 2020, and we’re trying to decide if a dining plan will be useful for our family. So I am wondering if kids can share a dish at a prix-fixe character meal. Thanks!!

    Hello Ginny!

I am so glad that you are starting your planning early. This will help ensure a fantastic experience at the Walt Disney World Resort.

My family loves the Disney Dining Plan due to its flexibility and the ability to budget for our trip with ease. Also, we love Character Dining experiences, and the use of the plan makes them much more affordable. While both adults and children can share meals when at a typical Table or Quick-Service location, sharing is not allowed at buffets, family style or Prix Fixe Character experiences.  Each person in your party will need to pay full price or utilize dining credits at these locations.

I hope this helps with your planning! If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help!

    See ya real soon,
