Hi, Sandy!
I’m thrilled to hear you’re planning a Disneyland Resort vacation with your family! It’s a wonderful place to make special memories with loved ones of all ages.
Children under the age of 3 do not require admission tickets to enter the theme parks. However, your 2-year-old grandchildren will still be able to enjoy the attractions, character experiences and entertainment the parks have to offer! There are several attractions toddlers can ride in both parks. If there is no minimum height requirement posted or it is advertised as being for “all ages” or “any height,” then it’s safe for them to ride on a parent’s lap.
Some favorites the whole family can experience in Disneyland Park are “it’s a small world,” Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Almost every attraction in Fantasyland is baby- and toddler-friendly. In Disney California Adventure Park, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure and Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! are a couple options. There are even a few attractions with height requirements that your youngest grandchildren may be tall enough to ride, like
Autopia at Disneyland Park and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters at Disney California Adventure Park, which have a minimum height requirement of only 32 inches.
Check out the complete theme park
attractions list online. It can be sorted by age interest, height requirement and thrill level. I think you’ll find there’s something for everyone! I hope this helps, Sandy. Please visit us again as your pixie-dusted planning continues.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
