    Starting to plan an Oct 2018 "Food and Wine" trip - can't wait! I see that Cirque du Soleil (sp?) is ending their current show at the end of the year. Are they going to be doing a new one in 2018?

    Hello Marcia! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    With the long-running Cirque du Soleil® La Nouba™ set to close at the end of the month after almost 20 years in production, I am anxious to see what is going to take its place at Disney Springs.

    Personally, I am surprised that more information has not been released on what will be filling the absence of Cirque du Soleil® La Nouba™ from the Disney Parks Blog. With so little provided information and the last update from the Disney Parks Blog being from March 2017, that may indicate that it will be some time into 2018 before any entertainment begins a new run at Le Théâtre.

    With your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planned for October 2018, hopefully a new entertainment fixture will be open for your enjoyment at Disney Springs.

    Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for information after Cirque du Soleil® La Nouba™ officially closes on December 31st, 2017 as Walt Disney World Resort seldom leaves gaps between the closing of cherished favorites and the anticipation of new experiences.
