    Hi, we're starting to plan a 14 night stay @ Disney World in mid September. this will be our first Disney experience; we don't celebrate Halloween here (though noi against it). How does halloween imopact the disney experience? Many thanks

    Hi Andy!

    Wow! Congratulations on your long Walt Disney World vacation coming up in September!  While Halloween decorations are mostly present at the Magic Kingdom, you will see items and merchandise located at other parks for Halloween.  Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is held on selected nights in the Magic Kingdom starting in September, this special event requires a separate ticket for entry.  I suggest checking the Park Hours Calendar for these dates, as the Magic Kingdom will close to regular park guests at 7:00 pm and only guests with special tickets will be allowed in the park. This is mostly the only time where you will see any sort of Halloween celebration, except for the occasional Autumn themed decorations.  With the exception of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, the impact of Halloween will most likely be very minimal during your vacation.
