I am starting to plan our next family trip for Aug 2013. We are looking at a moderate resort, but have no idea which one to pick. I would love some advice on which moderate to choose for my family of 4 (Me, DH, DD - 7, DS - 2)? DS may need a pack and play.

Hi Pearl!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel. I generally only recommend the Disney Moderate Resorts Port Orleans Riverside or Port Orleans French Quarter to guests unless they have a car. That's because I think the other Disney Moderate Resorts are too large, making it hard to get around the resort and even around the rest of Walt Disney World.

Port Orleans Riverside is a particularly nice resort. I love its theming, especially the Alligator Bayou section of the resort. It also has a great pool that most children love. It also has a great boat service to Downtown Disney, which is fun especially at night.
