I am starting to plan our meals for our upcoming trip from October 10-17th. There are 2 adults and 2 children in my group, but others are coming too. I want to know the best quick service places for each park. I have our sit down meals picked already. :)

Hi, Christina!  There are so many wonderful quick service options, depending on what your family enjoys eating.  I'll give you the list of my family's favorites for each park.

Hands down at Disney's Animal Kingdom is the Flame Tree Barbecue.  Even if you're not in the mood for a half slab of ribs or some barbecue chicken, which they do phenomenally well, you can opt for the less carnivorous options on the menu.  You'll find a fruit platter or smoked turkey with cranberry mayonnaise are just as tasty as the chicken and ribs.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, my girls would choose Pizza Planet over anything else.  With individual sized pizzas, everyone can get the kind they like, so there's no arguing over who ate the last piece of pepperoni, and you'll also find salads for those who would rather not have pizza.  I personally always enjoy the ABC Commissary for lunch.  Options there include stuff you don't usually find at counter service restaurants, like chicken curry and a nice Asian salad.

The Magic Kingdom is home to Cosmic Ray's, where you will find just about anything you could imagine in a quick service location.  There are ribs, rotisserie chicken, burgers, salads, even chicken noodle soup.  Another favorite of our family is the Columbia Harbor House, where you'll find fried and grilled seafood options, clam chowder, and yummy salads.

EPCOT is a whole post unto itself.  You will find everything from crepes and pizza to egg rolls and Mediterranean sliders.  You really have to decide what type of cuisine you're interested in and pick a country in the World Showcase.  We really enjoy the Katsura Grill in the Japan pavilion and the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK.

Have a great time and delicious dining on your upcoming vacation!
