Hi, there!
Welcome back to planDisney, Trinity. We are just so happy to help you plan your family's first
Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
I love experiencing pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks with my kiddos in tow, but it's certainly nice to enjoy some adults-only time during our annual visits. My husband and I arranged for
in-room babysitting for our three kids during our last stay for a much-needed date night, and we had the best time! We booked for the 4-hour minimum, and I'll tell you that we felt rushed to get back to our room in time. An extra two hours would have definitely made the end of our date a little less stressful!
As part of
Disney's phased reopening process, in-room babysitting services through Kid's Nite Out, Disney's featured provider, are not currently available. If this family-friendly service becomes available for Guests of Disney Resort hotels by the time of your visit, I suggest asking about the potential of a refund for unused time prior to booking. Kid's Nite Out is an independent childcare provider, so you'll book in-room babysitting directly through them rather than through your Disney Resort hotel.
I'm hoping
Captain Hook's Pirate Crew reopens in time for my family's next vacation. My daughter was too young for this high-seas adventure during our last visit, but now that she meets the age requirements, it'd be the perfect place for my little scallywags to spend some kids-only time so that my husband and I can enjoy another mid-vacation date night!
I hope this was helpful, Trinity. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
