I am just starting to plan my first ever Disney Vacation for our family of 5 (incl kids 6 and 2.5 yr twins) Value Resort or FW Campground for the price? Not sure where to even start with the planning....please help!

How fun that you are beginning planning your first ever Walt Disney World vacation! And one of the more overwhelming decision is where to stay, especially with a family of five (like mine!).

Here is a link to the resorts that can accommodate 5 guests.

At the All Star Resorts, the maximum occupancy for a room is 4, so you'd need 2 rooms or a family suite at All Star Music (living area with furniture that converts for sleeping, kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, and bedroom).

The Cabins at Ft. Wilderness have a separate living area with a kitchen, 1 bathroom, and a bedroom area. With the size of Ft. Wilderness, many guests also rent golf carts, which is additional fee.

Port Orleans Riverside was been a favorite of ours when our children were smaller because it has two beds & the addition of a trundle bed, so 5 guests can be in the room.

I'd encourage you to call 407-W-DISNEY or a reputable travel agent to get an estimate of costs of the rooms as well as exploring the links above to see which best meets your family's needs. I'd also visit www.allearsnet.com to see even more photos & helpful facts.

Rest assured, all the resorts are all filled with Disney magic!
