We are starting to plan out first Disneyland visit and are having trouble choosing a hotel. It is between the Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier. What do you suggest and why?

    Hello Elisa!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

You can’t go wrong with either Disneyland Resort Hotel. There are many great things for both Paradise Pier Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel. Paradise Pier has the PCH Grill which has an amazing character dining experience. They also have a rooftop pool area that boasts a great view of the Fireworks over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

Disneyland Hotel, however, is my favorite. I love the pool area with monorail waterslide, the convenient location at the end of the Downtown Disney District, but most of all, my boys and I love the headboards on the beds that light up like a fireworks display. A seemingly silly thing to book a hotel for, but it’s the little touches and intricate details that make a good vacation a great one!

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical visit!

    See you real soon!
