Hi Crystal!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Planning a first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is so exciting! There are so many fun and exciting things that your family will get to experience. Some of my favorite “must-do’s” for first-time visitors is: get your picture taken in front of Cinderella Castle, take a ride on “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom Park, experience a nighttime spectacular like
Happily Ever After, and experience a Character breakfast like Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at
‘Ohana.
When booking a vacation package, each member of your party staying in your room must be booked with an identical package. Therefore, if there are four of you in the same room, all four of you will need to participate in the same
Disney Dining Plan. If you typically don’t like to sit down for meals, consider purchasing the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. This plan allows for more casual meals and snacks at quick-service locations. Each person in your party ages three and over will receive two Quick-Service Meals, 2 Snacks or Non-Alcoholic Drinks per night of package stay, and one refillable drink mug, which can be used for refills at self-service beverage islands at Quick-Service locations at any Disney Resort hotel.
One of the best ways to order your Quick-Service food is by using the
Mobile Food ad Beverage Ordering in your
My Disney Experience Mobile app. This will save time when ordering and picking up your food! You will be able to use your Disney dining plan credits to pay!
I hope that you and your family have a fantastic first visit to the most magical place on earth. Please come back with your planning needs. We love to help Guests just like you!
