We're starting to plan a Disney World vacation. We were thinking about early December but I heard that Hollywood Studios doesn't have the Star Wars Fireworks Spectacular during November or December. Is there anyway to find out the dates?

Hey there, Cindy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We’re so happy you stopped by!

There is no better place to kick off the holiday season than at the Walt Disney World Resort! In true Disney fashion, the Holidays are bigger, jollier, and more magical than anywhere else! Seeing Cinderella Castle draped in lights, the smell of gingerbread as you walk into the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa coming from the life-size gingerbread house in the lobby, it’s pure Christmas bliss!

Cindy, I love to hear that you are already planning your magical holiday vacation! Schedules are usually released about 6 months in advance. This past Holiday season, Disney’s Hollywood Studios debuted a new nighttime holiday spectacular, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” and it was awesome! Star Wars fans weren’t disappointed because they had both nighttime shows, the new holiday one and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, happening every night! I’m not sure if that will be the case again this year, but rumor has it Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! might be returning so I would guess they might have a similar schedule as they did last year. Your best bet is to keep an eye out for the schedule updates on the site and check out the Disney Park Blog, the best place to hear the most up-to-date news and announcements about everything happening at the Parks!

Be sure to mark your calendar with all those important dates for your planning. 180 days for Advanced Dining Reservations, 60 days for FastPass+ (if staying on property, 30 if staying offsite), and your 6-month mark for the special schedules.

I hope you have a magical day!
