Hello, I am starting to plan a Disney vacation for my family and will probably be looking at arrival date on 2/13/24 (afternoon) and back on 2/19/24 (end of the day), so 5-6 days of fun. I want to connect with someone who can help me plan this trip

    Welcome to planDisney, Bassem!

I’m excited you’ve decided to bring your family to experience the magic and create memories that will last a lifetime!

I see you’re ready to book your vacation for 2024! As of now, the dates for next year have not yet been released. Historically, the dates have been released during the Spring or Summer months, so it could be any day now! Continue watching the Walt Disney World Resort website to check when the dates for your vacation become available.

You may want to book a Vacation Package, which includes a Disney Resort hotel room and theme park tickets. To do this, you can head to this page and select “Get Started” to plug in your information to begin looking at Disney Resort hotels. You can also call and speak to a friendly Cast Member at Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, who will gladly help you book the package. With a Vacation Package, you would put down a deposit for your trip, and then you can make as many payments as often as you would like until the final payment is due, usually 30 days before your arrival.

Let’s discuss Disney Resort hotels! There are different hotel categories for every budget type: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. I always recommend staying at a Disney Resort hotel because of benefits like Early Theme Park Entry and provided Disney transportation makes it easy for families to get to and from the parks.

Value resorts are the most budget-friendly. Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a good one because it offers the Disney Skyliner (aerial gondola) to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios!

Moderate Resorts are a bit pricier, but they offer more amenities. My favorite is the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resorts. The grounds are stunning there, and it feels luxurious.

You’ll find Deluxe Resorts to offer top-notch amenities. Most Deluxe resorts offer at least two different ways to get to at least one park. For instance, if you stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, you can walk to Magic Kingdom Park or take the Disney Monorail.

As for theme park tickets, everyone in your party under 3 will need them to enter. Guests need theme park tickets and Disney Park Pass reservations to enter the theme parks, so make sure to make those park pass reservations. There are four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort: Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. I’ll be happy to help guide you further should you have questions about any of them.

Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can make advance dining reservations 60 days before arrival for their entire trip. I recommend getting a Character Dining experience if you have anyone in the family who loves characters.

Also, familiarize yourself with Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane services. These are add-on purchases. Disney Genie+ allows Guests to choose from several attractions, one at a time, to skip the standby queue and enter through the Lightning Lane.

If you have any other questions while planning your vacation, I’m all ears and happy to help!

Wishing your family an enchanting vacation, Bassem!
